The House of Miles East St. Louis (HOME) is located in the former home of the late Miles Dewey Davis III. Miles Davis is the most revered jazz trumpeter of all time, not to mention one of the most important musicians of the 20th century.
What is cool?
At the very essence, cool is all about what's happening next. In popular culture, what's happening next is a kaleidoscope encompassing past, present, and future: that which is about to happen may be cool, and that which happened in the distant past may also be cool. This timeless quality, when it applies to music, allows minimalist debate - with few exceptions, that which has been cool will alway be cool. Miles epitomizes all that is cool...
HOME captures the timeless quality of cool through the rejuvenation of a historical architechtural treasure and transcends it into the only Cultural Music Museum in the East St. Louis metropolitan area. HOME nurtures the new generation of talent by addressing historical, cultural and educational needs. The Museum was developed to showcase and celebrate the music industry.

Mission:
The mission of HOME is to nurture, empower and embrace the talents of upcoming generations by reclaiming, restoring and revitalizing our values, identity and Cool. HOME is the cultural epicenter impelled and dedicated to cultivate, connect and celebrate the community through music, heritage and art...
Vision:
The future starts every morning. Everyday there is something creative to explore in life...
Motto:
Cool...All that is happening Next...
